These resources are freely open and accessible on the web.  Many of the sites on this guide have access to scholarly journal articles.  Other sites provide statistical information from government resources. 

What Are Open Access Databases?

Open access journals were created to increase scholarly communication by providing free access to full-text scientific and scholarly articles that are peer-reviewed or subject to editorial quality control.  The websites on this guide are allow you to search for articles without cost. You have the right to read, download, distribute, and link to these articles as long as you properly cite them.
