SOFT SKILLS COURSE FOR STUDENT LIBRARY AIDES: ottawa.libguides.com

This course will be used to support library aides and prepare them for the world of work outside college

HOW THIS WORKS

All student library aides at Ottawa University working in the library must participate in our Soft Skills Milestones Course. There are 16 weeks of Milestones. Each week there is a short video to watch and a short article to read an a quiz to take. If you pass the quiz at 70% you can enter your week completion for a prize.

STUDENT STAFF INCENTIVES

Each week Library Student Aides will be asked to complete ONE assignment. Each weekly assignment counts toward a drawing. If a student completes all four assignments, they will be entered into the drawing every four times. There will be four drawings per semester or four chances to win. If you complete three then you have three chances to win, or two assignments in four weeks, then two chances in the drawing. The winner in the drawing gets a gift card from one of the businesses here in Ottawa.
